Your dental plan, administered by Cigna, covers preventive care, restorative treatment and orthodontia for children and adults. Preventive care is covered at 100% with no deductible — so there's no reason to skip your cleanings.

What You Pay (In-Network)
An annual deductible of $50 per person or $150 per family applies to basic and major restorative services only.

Benefit Maximums
The plan pays up to $1,000 per person each year for basic and major restorative services combined. Orthodontia has a separate $1,000 per person lifetime maximum. Preventive and diagnostic care does not count toward either limit.
In-Network vs. Out-of-Network
You can see any dentist you choose, but your costs are most predictable when you see a Cigna Total DPPO Network provider.
- In-network providers have agreed to prenegotiated fees, so you always know what you'll owe.
- Out-of-network providers may charge more than Cigna's allowed amount — and you're responsible for that difference on top of your share.

Plan Ahead for Major Treatment
If your dentist recommends treatment expected to cost $200 or more, ask them to request a pre-treatment estimate from Cigna before work begins. This helps you avoid surprises by letting you know how much the plan will pay and what you will owe.
